As described by its name, Central Asia Sharing Aid (CASA), CASA's mission is to establish and/or support Christian schools and orphanages, to plant and/or support churches, medical clinics and other related humanitarian works in Central Asia. CASA. is a not-for-profit organization, exempt from income taxes under Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and prepares its financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles. Annually, our statements are independently audited by certified public accountants and are available upon request. All contributions to CASA are tax deductible and will be acknowledged by a receipt.

Where do all the donations go? How are they spent?

Currently, contributions received by CASA go towards the establishment and support of five Christian schools, two orphanages and one school for the mentally and physically disabled children in Kyrygyzstan. CASA also has pioneered a church in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, supports a feeding program for homeless children in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, runs a summer camp for homeless children and orphans, and sponsors missionaries in this Central Asia region. Our newest projects include a village school in Jarbashy, a vocational/technical college in Tokmok, a pediatric/dental clinic adjacent to the Tokmok orphanage, an experimental farm and pioneering additional churches and village schools.

CASA works with our Kyrgyzstan partner, YRAIYIM (Mercy Charitable Christian Foundation (MCCF), to accomplish our mission. CASA currently has two part-time paid staff in Rockford, Illinois, in order to keep our overhead low. We have directed 98% of our contributions to the mission field in Kyrgyzstan. Your missionary dollars go far in Kyrgyzstan, where the average salary is one to one and a half U.S. dollars a day.

In October of 2004, we collaborated with Kids Around the World (http://www.kidsaroundtheworld.com) and Rockford First Assembly and built a playground and ministry house in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan.

Why do missions in Kyrgyzstan?

God directed our founder, Elder C. S. Yang to Kyrgyzstan to open Christian schools. Kyrgyzstan is the poorest of Central Asian countries and is also amongst the least reached with the Gospel. Elder Yang remembered his own childhood attendance at a Christian school as pivotal to his own Christian conversion experience. He felt led to share the Gospel with the Kyrgyz children and their families. Through humanitarian aid and good education opportunities made possible by CASA and their partner organization, MCCF, many children and their families are being touched with the Gospel.
